“The Rake’s Song” is an extremely promising single for April’s The Hazards Of Love. A filicidal tale of a widowed rake, it swells with an impassioned, morose rhythm. As always, Decemberists frontman Colin Meloy continues to impress with his lyrical prowess.

The Asteroids Galaxy Tour, fronted by the beautiful Mette Lindberg, is a Danish, alternative-pop duo. I highly recommend their hit single, “Around the Bend”, which has picked up a respectable amount of steam after being featured in an iPod Touch advertisement last September.
This song is so catchy that it’s unfair.
